Privacy Policy

Effective August 31, 2026. This Policy explains how Carolina Pinball Repair handles information associated with BenchBuddy.

Local-first application data

BenchBuddy stores customer records, work orders, inventory, expenses, mileage, routes, reports, settings, and imported manual files on your computer. We do not receive that local business data through the normal operation of the desktop app. It leaves your computer only when you choose an action such as exporting, backing up, syncing to a folder or service you control, contacting support with an attachment, or opening an external link.

Information handled for purchases, licensing, and support

Stripe may process purchaser identity, contact, billing, location, tax, payment, transaction, and subscription information. Keygen may process license keys, license status, a pseudonymous device fingerprint, device or platform attributes needed for activation, validation timestamps, and related identifiers. Hosting and email providers may process ordinary request, delivery, security, and diagnostic information. If you contact us, we receive the information you send.

Purposes and sharing

We use information to complete purchases, calculate applicable taxes, issue and validate licenses, prevent fraud or abuse, provide support, maintain security, comply with law, and operate BenchBuddy. We share information with service providers only for those purposes, when you direct us to do so, or when required to protect rights, safety, security, or comply with law. We do not sell your local BenchBuddy business database.

Retention, security, and your choices

Local data remains under your control until you delete it. Payment, subscription, licensing, support, security, and business records may be retained as reasonably necessary for those purposes and legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep your operating system updated, restrict computer access, protect license keys, and maintain independent encrypted backups where appropriate.

You may deactivate a computer in BenchBuddy, cancel a subscription through the available billing or support process, and contact us to ask about information we control. Stripe, Keygen, your operating system, and any backup or sync provider have their own privacy practices. BenchBuddy is business software and is not directed to children under 13.
